Why does my ST5 Sensor show that it is online, but the monitoring data cannot be updated normally?
The reason why your sensor shows as online, but the monitoring data is not updating properly is likely due to a disconnection between the external temperature probe and the body of your ST5 Sensor. This issue is indicated by the continuous blinking of the blue LED on the sensor.
Here is a solution to address this problem:
First, you can try removing the external temperature probe from the sensor. Wipe it with a damp cloth followed by a dry cloth and then reinsert it securely. Wait for approximately 30 seconds and observe if the monitoring data can be updated properly.
f the issue persists, you can follow these steps:
Remove both external temperature probes from the two sensors.
Wipe them with a damp cloth followed by a dry cloth, and then swap and insert them into the other sensor bodies.
Wait for approximately 30 seconds and observe if both sensors can report data properly.
Additionally, the MOCREO Hub firmware version (≥ v1.9.5) and MOCREO Sensor App version (≥ v1.5.0) have introduced a sensor card that provides indications of abnormal temperature probe status. You can use this information to quickly identify the current status of the sensor probe and troubleshoot the issue.
Furthermore, we would like to confirm some deployment scenarios related to your sensor:
Have you noticed any loose connections between the body of the sensor and the external temperature probe?
If so, please provide details about the actual deployment of the external temperature probe for the ST5 Sensor in your location. Have you placed the external probe in an environment that may cause the probe’s connection to become loose?
Your feedback is crucial to us. Thank you for your understanding and support!
