What should I do when my sensor fail to work?(ST8 Sensor)
it is important to clarify that the ST8 Sensor is a device that operates locally, and the real-time data displayed or controlled through the mobile app relies on the BLE signal transmission between your phone and the ST8 on-device. If your mobile device, which you use to access the MOCREO Sensor App, is too far away from the ST8 Sensor during daily usage, it may result in the device being unable to detect the Sensor (Sensor card showing in gray), thereby preventing you from establishing a connection with the Sensor when attempting to access the Sensor details page.
The following are the suggested solutions:
First, ensure that the ST8 Sensor has power,You can use your mobile phone to scan for nearby devices via Bluetooth and check the list to see if there are any devices with the name “MOCREO” to determine if they have power. Alternatively, you can remove the battery of the ST8 Sensor for 3 seconds and then reinstall it, observing if the ST8 Sensor emits a beep to determine if it has power.(If the battery is depleted, you can purchase a replacement battery of the type: 9V 6LR61.)
If the Sensor has power, you can try turning off the “Bluetooth” on your mobile phone, then turning it back on, and place the ST8 Sensor in close proximity to your phone to see if the Sensor can establish a successful connection.
Note:
It is important to note that if you are using multiple mobile devices to access the MOCREO Sensor App, the ST8 Sensor can only be connected to one mobile device at a time. If you use one mobile device to access the Sensor details page through the app, the ST8 Sensor cannot be connected to another mobile device simultaneously.
