How Does The IoT Hub Work
The IoT Hub serves as a bridge between the Sensor and the Cloud Server, making real-time monitoring and remote alerts possible. For the MOCREO BLE Sensor to send information to the cloud server, it must be paired with an IoT Hub.
H1B and H2 are the IoT Hub that supports the MOCEREO Sensor App and Web Portal.
Deployment Suggestions
For the number of Hub deployments, here is something to be considered:
- One MOCREO IoT Hub can support up to 10 Sensors.
- Hub signal coverage range: Generally, when installed on the ceiling and unobstructed, a Hub can cover the area of a circle with a radius of 65 ft (20 meters). Therefore, a Hub can manage an area of about 14,000 square feet (Around 1,300 square meters). However, if there is any wall or Sensor and Hub are not on the same floor, the distance might shorten greatly. Under this circumstance, it is recommended to add more Hub to cover the signal blind area.
